easily tickled, i am.

that's what my dad always asks me.
"why are you so easily tickled??"

truth is, i don't know.

i remember when i was 7 and my dad brought me to the paediatrician's to have me vaccinated. i couldn't stop laughing as the doctor pulled my pants down and had me lying in a prone position on the bed. he was targetting my ass. i don't remember why i found this funny, but i was in fits of laughter and didn't seem like i was gonna stop anytime soon and he was getting impatient. so he yanked at my hair and jabbed me. obviously i quietened down. -_-

about a week ago at the hair salon, i couldn't stop laughing while i was having my hair washed at the sink. -_- i just thought it was funny coz this salon's sink was positioned in a weird way so that i could look straight up and see straight into his nostrils if i wanted to. then i figured i'd be able to tell if his nose was clean or not and then what if it's not and then it starts snowing boogie and then EEEEEEEE boogies!! then what am i going to do? should i blow the boogies away?? (i know this is prolly next to impossible but i couldn't help thinking it anyway) and on and on...
and so he was massaging my forehead when i couldn't hold in the laughter anymore and i didn't want to appear KOOOOKOOOO so i lied and said i was ticklish in the ear and that the water trickling down the sides of my head wasn't helping. then i bit my lip and sms-ed ppl to distract myself but to no avail. so i giggled the rest of the session and apologized to him along the way. he just stared at me and didn't give a reply. ZZZZZZZ lol

yesterday i burst out laughing in front of a patient as we were both staring into space in silence.
she responded with a puzzled look. it looked very, very much like this. o.O??
....... *thinks*
what exactly is it that people do when they are silent and in their own thoughts??
....
i usually have a whole conversation in my head. -_-

yesterday's went something like this.

*remembering an incident from when i was..8? and in mental arithmetic class. (ok. i don't know why in the world was i reminiscing about life yearsss ago out of the blue in the breast clinic) the teacher had just given us some sums to do on the abacus and was going to leave for the day and so left his sister in charge. she was a random folk who didn't work in the centre and was there for whatever purpose that day.
the teacher's instruction was to finish ur sums as fast as possible and say "HAO (which means done in mandarin - it was a mandarin/chinese-like centre. so you can imagine how intimidated i was as i barely spoke any mandarin then and everybody surrounding me would be rattling off in mandarin. pfft like i speak plenty of mandarin now -_-. but anyhoo..the teacher usually spoke in both mandarin and english for the benefit of the non-chinese students in class. and me. fml. lol)" and the sister would record the name of the fastest student. i was the first to finished my sums and i shouted "HAO" after summoning up enough courage. wtf. the aunty was in her own space and world and i guess didn't hear me at all even though i had said it rather loudly. :/. i felt really, really embarassed and just meeked down and shut up and shrunk in my seat. zzzzzzz.
later on, when another student had finished her sums, she shouted a HAO! which also went unresponded by the dreamy sister. but i guess she was courageous enough to shout HAO a few more times to alert that aunty. (in my defense, she was older and spoke good mandarin!!) so many, many HAOs later by other students, then only did i feel brave enough to say HAO again. yes. story of my life.*

SO! while recalling that incident, my inner subconscious went,
"hao. it's such a funny word isn't it?"
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA it's like when the red indians go OWWWW"

and THAT'S when i burst out into laughter. -_-
i entertain myself rather well, i think.

so yes, dad. i am easily tickled, i am.
